I am an award-winning photojournalist. I do cinematography, and professional photography. I enjoy all challenges in every aspect of videography and photography. I enjoy working on commercials, real estate, portrait and product photography, and documentaries. I’m a multi-faceted filmmaker with 15 years of experience in the film and television production industries, you can trust me to create a powerful effective image for your story or brand.
I have experience with modern digital camera ecosystems by Sony, Panasonic, Canon, DJI, and others. My in-house camera department features cinema and broadcast lenses, powerful LED lighting, and the robust Sony Fs5 and Sony A7iii with a DJI Ronin S Gimbal. I am a drone pilot, in which I own a DJI Mavic Pro 2.

I started taking photos in 2006, at the time I would chase small opportunities and saw any experience as the best experience. I would capture anything that peaked my interest, from insects to sunsets. I always challenge myself to bring something new and different to the table. I put photography down to begin my career at KRGV News in Weslaco, Texas. This is where my videography began to shine. I set a goal to become the first “Rookie” to cover the Republican and Democratic National Conventions, and I made it happen. I proved myself to be very reliable under immense deadline pressures. Upon returning from the national conventions I was sent to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to cover a major flood that displaced an estimated 70,000 people. I found myself in waist deep water, along side alligators witnessing devastation I had yet to encounter. Within 6 months I received a request from a fellow reporter to cover President Donald J. Trumps Inauguration.

After a few years of experience with KRGV News, I accepted a position at ABC 10 in Sacramento, CA. I would be the first in my family to leave my home state, but I was ready and excited for this new chapter in my life. California brought new opportunities my way such as Stephon Clark, and George Floyd protests. I then had the honor of being accredited in Ron Howard and National Geographic’s film “Rebuilding Paradise” for my coverage of the 2018 Camp fire in Paradise, CA. Since then I have only continued to push forward and grow in.

Photography and videography is more than taking photos and capturing historical moments. It has made me see things differently and created relationships I never expected. I am grateful for all the opportunities and friendships gained through my career. It’s given me an array of understanding, and made me a fast and precise individual. Any obstacle thrown my way, I am confident I’ll find a solution.
